Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using teachwithai.life, submitting an enquiry, registering for a programme, or participating in lab activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
We may modify these terms at any time by posting an updated version on teachwithai.life. Material changes take effect upon posting unless otherwise stated. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. About TeachWithAI
TeachWithAI is an independent AI education innovation lab based at 450 Lansdowne Street, Suite 208, Kamloops, BC V2C 1Y3, Canada (Business Number 848417629BC0001). We design and deliver professional development programmes, curriculum prototyping experiences, and lab residencies focused on responsible AI adoption in education.
3. Education disclaimer
Education Disclaimer: TeachWithAI is an independent AI education innovation lab. We are not a university, college, or government-accredited degree-granting institution. Our programmes support professional development and experimental learning only. We do not confer degrees, diplomas, academic credits, transfer credits, or regulated teaching certifications. Completion of a TeachWithAI programme does not guarantee employment, promotion, licensure, or admission to any educational institution. Outcomes depend on individual effort, institutional context, and how participants apply lab learnings in their professional environments.
Programme descriptions, lab reports, and published research represent experimental work and evolving best practices in AI education. They are provided for informational and professional development purposes and should not be treated as definitive regulatory, legal, or pedagogical advice. Educators remain responsible for compliance with their school board, district, faculty, or provincial ministry requirements when implementing AI tools in classroom settings.
TeachWithAI does not provide legal, financial, medical, or psychological services. Any discussion of ethics, governance, or policy during lab sessions is educational in nature and does not constitute professional advice.
4. Eligibility and accounts
Our website and programmes are intended for educators, instructional designers, administrators, and related professionals aged 18 or older, or minors participating through a school or institution with appropriate consent and supervision. You agree to provide accurate information when registering or communicating with us and to update that information as needed.
Where we provide login credentials or access to lab systems, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use teachwithai.life and our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
- Use the website or lab resources in any way that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other users' accounts.
- Introduce malware, scrape content at scale without permission, or interfere with site performance.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with TeachWithAI or use our trademarks without written consent.
- Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property rights, contains hate speech, or harasses others.
- Use lab prototypes, materials, or AI outputs to develop competing commercial products without a separate licence agreement.
- Record, photograph, or broadcast lab sessions without prior written consent from TeachWithAI and affected participants.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these terms or harms other participants, staff, or the integrity of our programmes.
6. Programme enrolment, fees, and cancellation
Programme fees, schedules, and capacity limits are described on teachwithai.life or in enrolment materials provided at registration. Payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation deadlines are specified in programme-specific agreements or confirmation emails. Unless otherwise stated, fees are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
TeachWithAI may cancel or reschedule programmes due to insufficient enrolment, facilitator availability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will offer a refund, credit, or alternative date as appropriate. Participants who cancel within the stated deadline may receive a partial or full refund according to the programme policy; late cancellations may forfeit fees.
7. Intellectual property
All content on teachwithai.life — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, programme materials, lab methodologies, and software — is owned by TeachWithAI or our licensors and protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only, unless we grant written permission for broader use.
Participants retain ownership of original work they create during lab sessions unless otherwise agreed in writing. By participating in collaborative lab activities, you grant TeachWithAI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use anonymized contributions for internal research, programme improvement, and published lab reports, provided individual participants are not identified without consent.
8. Third-party links and tools
Our website may link to third-party websites, AI platforms, or educational tools for demonstration purposes. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party tools is governed by their respective terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
Teachwithai.life and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that website content, programme materials, or lab prototypes are complete, current, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies or biases; participants must exercise professional judgment before relying on them in educational settings.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits warranties or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under Canadian consumer protection legislation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TeachWithAI and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of teachwithai.life or participation in our programmes, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to TeachWithAI for the programme giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (C$100). These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeachWithAI and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our website or services, your violation of any law or third-party rights, or content you submit or distribute in connection with our programmes.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that the courts of British Columbia, sitting in Kamloops or Vancouver, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services, except where consumer protection legislation in your province of residence grants you non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. We will make good-faith efforts to address concerns within thirty business days.
13. General provisions
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent; we may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TeachWithAI regarding use of teachwithai.life and general programme participation, superseding prior oral or written understandings on that subject.
